Builders have been named for the first phase of development in Grange, a master-planned community in Katy from Johnson Development.
David Weekley Homes and Newmark Homes will build on 45-foot lots, with homes priced from the low $400,000s. David Weekley’s homes will range from 1,700 to 2,600 square feet, while Newmark’s will range from 1,600 to 2,600 square feet.
Chesmar Homes and Perry Homes will build on 50-foot lots. Chesmar will offer homes priced from the mid-$400,000s ranging from 1,900 to 3,000 square feet, while Perry Homes will offer homes priced from the upper $500,000s ranging from 2,000 to 3,200 square feet.
Drees Custom Homes and Westin Homes will build on 55-foot lots, with homes ranging from around 2,400 square feet to 3,200 square feet. Drees Custom Homes will offer homes priced from the $500,000s. Westin Homes has yet to announce pricing.
Highland Homes and Perry Homes will build on 60-foot lots, the largest available homesites in phase one of development. Highland Homes will offer homes priced from the upper $600,000s ranging from 2,700 to 4,300 square feet. Perry Homes will offer homes priced from the lower $600,000s ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 square feet.
“All of these builders have existing relationships with Johnson Development, having built for years in our other communities,” Jacob Rice, vice president and general manager of Grange, said in a press release. “We can attest to the construction quality, design detail and attentive customer service of each.”
The first phase of development will include 301 homesites. Upon completion, Grange will contain approximately 2,400 homes.
